People who understand

Our international
team.

Professional experience and personal understanding, brought together around one clear purpose: helping recovery take root in everyday life.

St Peter, BarbadosMeet the team

Experience matters.
So does understanding.

The Bridge team brings together decades of experience in addiction recovery with the perspective that comes from lived experience. That understanding shapes the atmosphere of the residence, the daily routine and the relationships built with residents and families.

Charlie, CEO of The Bridge

01

Charlie

CEO

After repeated attempts at primary treatment, Charlie recognised that he needed a longer-term solution. Living in a 12-Step sober house for six months gave him the foundation that ultimately inspired The Bridge: a place where people have the time, structure and support to build recovery properly.

It takes time to get well, but a solid foundation makes recovery possible.

Christina

Yoga Teacher

Christina has taught yoga for almost a decade, with a method focused on people in recovery. Her sessions begin with breathing practices before moving into accessible stretches and simple movement, encouraging mental, physical and spiritual presence.

Danny, Finance and Administration at The Bridge

06

Danny

Finance & Administration

Danny had previously been through treatment, but found himself returning to the same old story without experiencing the deeper change he now recognises as recovery. After 30 years working in finance, he is proud to be part of The Bridge—supporting its finance and administration and helping people in their recovery wherever he can.

On reflection, I had never been in recovery until I worked with the Bridge team in Barbados.

Recovery requires safety.
Safety requires privacy.

Many residents come from professional or public-facing backgrounds. Their dignity matters. Residency is confidential, the location is private, and personal progress remains personal.
