THE BRIDGERECOVERY · BARBADOSSpeak to us Our programme
A structured 28-day programme for men seeking secondary care and independent living within a spacious, private recovery residence in Barbados.
A considered next step
The Bridge is designed for men who are serious about recovery and willing to live within a structured, abstinent environment. It can provide a next step after primary treatment, or a purposeful setting for someone who needs accountability, fellowship and routine to strengthen their recovery.
Residents must arrive sober and committed to abstinence. Where detox is required before arrival, The Bridge can discuss appropriate support through its external network.
The 28-day programme
The programme brings recovery work into the fabric of daily life. Each resident has a clear rhythm, personal support and the opportunity to build meaningful connections within the house and the Barbados recovery community.
Programme fees and availability are discussed privately following an initial conversation about suitability and individual needs.
What is included

Sober living & active recovery
Recovery remains active throughout a stay. Residents engage with the 12-Step fellowships across the island, maintain sponsor contact, undertake step work and literature study, and take part in honest conversations within the house.
The established Barbados recovery community offers connection beyond the residence. Many residents build relationships with local fellowship that continue after they leave.
A rhythm with purpose
Meditation, daily check-ins and group reflection create focus, accountability and connection.
One-to-one support, local 12-Step meetings, step work, journalling and shared activities build a dependable routine.
Beach visits, nature walks, cultural experiences and service in the local community bring recovery into everyday life.

The setting
A calm, private residence on the west coast of Barbados.
Exploring Barbados
Weekends and free time can include nature walks, beach visits, mindful outdoor activity and opportunities to experience the landscape and culture of Barbados. Shared experiences sit alongside space for rest, journalling and reflection.
Through Feed the Street, residents can also contribute to the local community— connecting recovery with gratitude, purpose and practical service to others.
A foundation for change
Residents engage with the 12-Step fellowships across Barbados and are supported to build genuine connections within the local recovery community.
